Prerequisites

Before Skarbe can record your meetings, you need to set up the correct integrations:

Manual call recording. If an integration isn't connected, you still can record a call: go to Media Library > Record meeting. Add meeting link and click on the Record button. Learn more how to record a call manually.

Customize Your Recording Settings

Visit Settings → Meeting settings to configure:

  1. When to record meetings:

    1. All meetings (default)

    2. Only external meetings

    3. Don’t record meetings

  2. Bot name. Change the name of the Skarbe bot that joins your meetings.

ℹ️ Only the bot name is customizable at the moment. More bot branding options are coming soon.

Built-In Consent and Compliance

Skarbe handles consent automatically:

  • The Skarbe bot displays a notification when it joins a meeting.

  • Meeting platforms also show a recording indicator or play an audio prompt.

  • These disclosures meet standard legal and compliance requirements.

Skarbe protects your recordings with:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest.

  • Cloud-based secure storage.

  • Role-based access controls for authorized users only.

Recorded calls

Once a call is recorded:

  • It is automatically saved in your Media Library

  • It is automatically linked to a deal (if one is detected)

  • It is automatically attached to a contact

ℹ️ If a call isn’t automatically linked to the correct contact or deal, you can manually attach it at any time.
