The media library is a centralized repository within Skarbe where you can store, organize, and access a wide range of files including videos, audios, texts, spreadsheets, and more. It serves as a hub for all your valuable data and content, making it easily accessible for analysis.
Uploading and managing files
Uploading files
To upload new files to the media library, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Media Library section within Skarbe.
Click the 'Upload' button in the top right corner.
Simply drag and drop your files directly into the designated area or select files by clicking on 'Select files'.
ℹ️ Supported file formats include .mp4, .mp3, .m4a, .wav, .txt, .csv, and .vtt.
Managing files
Once uploaded, you can easily manage your files within the library.
Creating files
In addition to uploading, you can create text files directly within the media library:
Click on the 'Create text file' button.
Enter file name and add content.
Click 'Save'.
Editing files
Edit file details such as file name and its attributes for better organization and categorization. Select or open a specific file, click ‘Edit file’, change the information you need and click ‘Save’.
Search and filters
To find a file, navigate to the search bar at the top of the page, enter a keyword or phrase from the file's name or media attribute, and hit 'Enter' to search.
To clear search, click on cross "x" icon and press Enter to apply.
You may also improve your search further by filtering by team members. By default, the list shows only your media. To change this:
Click your avatar next to the search bar to clear the filter and view all media.
Click on another team member’s avatar to view only their media.
Deleting files
To remove a file, simply click on it and then select 'Delete'. For multiple file deletions, choose the desired files and click 'Delete'. Confirm the action, and the selected files will be permanently removed from your library.
File attributes
Media library allows you to enhance file organization by adding attributes, which provide additional information and context. These attributes can include various metadata such as creation date, author, or any other custom fields tailored to your organization's requirements.
Adding or modifying attributes for a specific file
To add or modify attributes for a specific file, follow these steps:
Open the desired file.
Click on the three dots icon in the sidebar header
Select 'Edit files'.
Add new attributes or modify existing ones.
Click 'Save' to apply changes.
Attach files to a contact or company
When a call is recorded, it’s automatically saved in your Media Library, linked to a deal (if detected), and attached to a contact.
However, manually uploaded media is not linked automatically. You can attach it manually at any time:
Go to the Media Library.
Click ”+ Attach to” next to the media name
OR
Open the media, click the three dots in the sidebar header, then select “Attach to”.Search for the relevant contact, email, or company name.
Select the result to preview it, then click Confirm to attach the media.
This ensures your uploaded files are properly connected to the right people or deals.
It is possible to attach several media files at once:
Select media from the Media Library list.
Click on "Attach to" in the table header.
